Harry Lumsden has been active for almost 60 years in the study and conservation of Ontario’s birds. The Distinguished Ornithologist Award is “granted to individuals who have made outstanding and authoritiative contributions to the scientific study of birds in Ontario and Canada; who have been a resource to OFO and the Ontario birding community; and whose research on birds has resulted in many publications and a significant increase in new ornithological knowledge”.

Birdsong as you've never heard it before, not only to identify the birds but also to identify with them - the repertoire of the song sparrow, the exquisite beauty in the songs of thrushes and how each male uses its songs to best effect, and the comparative sounds of babbling baby wren and baby human. Come and learn to truly listen to our most common birds in ways you never imagined possible.
We'll be giving away lots of door prizes for lucky winners, and recognizing donors. If you'd like to donate a door prize(s) contact Dave Milsom at 905-857-2235 or .
